Jimmy Limitless is a queer, nonbinary woman of color and interdisciplinary artist. While currently focusing on the medium of graphic and motion design, her work is tied into the exploration of sound/ music, poetry and fine arts. The focus of her project is to combine disciplines and test the limits of people’s understanding of music, art and culture through experiences that incorporate audio-visual elements and a sense of inclusive community.
Jimmy has collaborated with artists from all genres and mediums to bring their artistic visions to life. Their design portfolio consists of logo design, graphics and illustrations for t-shirts, flyers, and cover art, as well as motion design for promo videos, Spotify canvas, and live visuals. In 2018 she created a custom font and illustration for the clothing brand Riddim LA (unaffiliated), and in 2022 worked as a screen printer and designer with the clothing brand Project Pantsu.
Hailing from the Inland Empire in California, Jimmy comes from a strong background in fine and visual arts, which brings a unique perspective to her foray into sound and music. In 2021, they showcased a 4D installation piece titled “Reflections” at the Merlino Gallery in Long Beach which incorporated sculpture, light, video projection, music, performance, and water. In 2021 they also created their first experimental sound composition titled “Essence” which created a meditative soundscape of natural and ethereal elements. Also in 2021, Jimmy designed and self-published “The Art of Alyssa Tejada”, an art book compiling their works to date.
They currently work as the lead designer for Lumenesense and has a lot more multidisciplinary content in the works.
